Community Services
People who work in care, health support and community programmes in Tanzania often have skills that overseas providers value, such as patience, teamwork and practical judgement. This page lists community services vacancies in Australia and New Zealand, including aged care, disability support and youth and family work.
In your CV, explain what the work involved: the people you supported, the tasks you carried out each shift, the records you kept and who you reported to. Give your training its full title, the college and the year, and add letters from supervisors that confirm your dates and duties. Keep certificates ready in English, with any Swahili documents translated when asked.
A course certificate is not the same thing as professional registration, which is decided by a separate body for each profession. Each advert sets out its own checks, qualifications and work eligibility, and some say the employer may support a visa. Eligible applicants of any nationality are welcome to apply.
