Key Responsibilities
- Carry out each person's plan and take responsibility for the planned activities
- Organise and run outings and leisure
- Encourage interests, friendships and personal choices
- Provide domestic support and personal care at home, as each plan sets out
- Complete paperwork on time, keep the coordinator informed and respect confidentiality
- Keep the workplace safe for yourself and others
Requirements & Eligibility
- Current First Aid Certificate, Working with Children Check and WA C-class driver's licence
- Awareness of what people with physical and intellectual disabilities need, and a positive attitude
- Problem-solving ability and composure under pressure
- Communication and interpersonal skills, and teamwork
- Organisational skills, including prioritising workloads for deadlines
- Desirable: experience working with people with disability
