Accounting & Finance

Australian and New Zealand employers advertise for accountants, bookkeepers, auditors, payroll staff and finance analysts all year, and this page lists those roles for people in Tanzania. If you work in Dar es Salaam, Arusha, Mwanza or Dodoma, an overseas application starts with a CV that shows exactly what you did.

Use short, concrete lines: the accounting package you used, the accounts you looked after, the reports you produced and who relied on them. Registration with the National Board of Accountants and Auditors or a professional award such as ACCA deserves a separate heading with the title written as printed. Keep your academic and professional certificates ready in English.

Rules for tax, reporting and registration are not the same abroad, so avoid promising more than your record shows. Some roles ask for an assessment of overseas studies, and many state whether they can support a work visa or need someone already allowed to work. Every listing sets its own conditions, and any eligible applicant may apply, whatever their passport.
