Tax & Business Services is where a motivated Junior or Intermediate Accountant would sit at a boutique firm on the Brisbane city fringe that is highly regarded and progressive. Its accounting, taxation and business advisory services reach a diverse portfolio of clients, and fees are fixed, so there are no timesheets and no traditional targets: quality, efficiency and results for clients are what count.
A Senior Manager would guide the work closely, with mentoring along the way and a broad mix of accounting, taxation and business advisory tasks. Visa sponsorship opportunities exist for suitable candidates who require support from an employer.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements, income tax returns and BAS for a range of clients, from individuals to companies, trusts and partnerships
- Assist with taxation compliance and general business services, and liaise with the ATO, ASIC and other authorities
- Work with senior team members on quality work and client outcomes, and see tax planning and business advisory services up close as you develop
Requirements & Eligibility
- A minimum of 18 months' experience in Australian public practice accounting, within Tax & Business Services
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting
- An interest in finishing, or currently studying towards, a CA or CPA qualification
- Experience using Xero or similar accounting software
- Strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, a positive and motivated outlook and a wish to keep growing in accounting
