Full-time work of at least 30 hours a week is on offer to waitstaff at a lively Mexican-themed restaurant in central Christchurch. The roster includes nights, weekends and the busy summer months, and regular in-house food, beverage and service training is provided.
Four experienced waitstaff are wanted. They should give outstanding customer service, serve food and drinks in line with the selling system, and recognise what guests need while showing their personalities and having fun in the heart of the city's hospitality scene. The restaurant is an accredited employer (AEWV sponsorship) and can assist with the immigration process if required.

Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests, tell them about the menu and what the restaurant offers, and bring orders and drinks to tables
- Reset and clear tables, keep the restaurant tidy, put orders through the POS and take both electronic and cash payments
- Follow New Zealand liquor laws and work with management on licensing requirements
- Promote the restaurant's products and services, and complete the regular in-house training modules
Requirements & Eligibility
- A Level 2 or 3 Diploma qualification, or at least six months in a similar position
- Good knowledge of New Zealand liquor laws, with availability for nights, weekends and the busy summer months
- Drive to work hard in a fast-paced role, and to learn what the restaurant offers and how it serves
