Four experienced waitstaff are being recruited by a stylish, popular restaurant in central Christchurch that serves modern Asian cuisine and has an aquarium of its own. Customer service is what counts: serving food and beverages through the selling system, recognising what guests need and bringing some personality and fun to the floor.
This is a permanent, full-time job of at least 30 hours a week, with availability needed for nights, weekends and the busy summer months. Approved as an accredited employer, the restaurant can sponsor workers and assist through the immigration process if required.

Key Responsibilities
- Meet and greet guests positively and describe the menu and offerings
- Join regular beverage, food and service training
- Take orders, serve them and clear and reset tables
- Process orders through the POS and take electronic and cash payments
- Apply NZ liquor laws and work with management and guests to enforce licensing requirements; keep the restaurant clean and promote products and services as policy requires
Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum six months in a similar role, or a Level 2 or 3 Diploma qualification
- Good knowledge of NZ liquor laws, with availability for nights, weekends and the busy summer months
- Motivation to work hard and learn the offerings and service standards of the restaurant
