Dubbo is where a busy country hotel pub needs a senior cook or chef with real experience across the pan, grill and cold larder sections. The post involves days, nights and weekends, supporting the Head Chef and guiding the junior kitchen team on shift.
For the right candidate, sponsorship is available. The pub asks for applicants already living in Australia who are able to come in for a trial.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food as the menu, recipes and Head Chef direct, including special diets
- Control stock and wastage, and receive and check deliveries
- Coach junior staff and direct kitchen attendants and apprentices
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene under food safety legislation, and follow food handling procedures, reporting incidents to the Head Chef
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least 5 years of hands-on pan and grill experience
- Certificate III and IV in Commercial Cookery
- A skills assessment for cook or chef
- Living in Australia and available to come in for a trial
- Flexible and available for days, nights and weekends
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Reliable on shift
