In Canberra, a venue known for high tea, weddings and corporate events wants a Restaurant Manager who can take full operational charge. The venue forms part of an established hospitality and events group that also runs venues in Sydney, and nights and weekends are when the work happens.
Sponsorship is available for the role. The manager works hand in hand with the General Manager, the events team and the kitchen, so strong coordination matters as much as hospitality experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the venue each day across high tea, weddings, corporate functions and private events
- Lead, roster, train and develop front-of-house staff
- Work closely with the General Manager, the events team and the kitchen
- Maintain service standards and venue presentation, and handle guest feedback
- Drive revenue and control costs
- Manage compliance, including WHS and RSA
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven record as a Restaurant, Venue or Events Manager in premium hospitality, with a confident, hands-on style and full ownership of operations
- Warm and approachable with guests and the team
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Strong organisational skills and a sharp eye for detail
- Available for nights and weekends, every weekend and public holidays included, and for peak event periods
