In south-east Sydney, a community pub that belongs to a bigger hotel group is hiring a Duty Manager. The person should be hands-on and good with people. The pub has loyal regulars and consistent trade in the bar, gaming, sport, events and guest rooms. Governance, clear standards and developing leaders matter to the group.
As Duty Manager you look after shifts and work across front and back of house. You might be an experienced Duty Manager, or a senior supervisor who wants a bigger leadership role. Sponsorship is available.

Key Responsibilities
- Be the person in charge during shifts across the bar, gaming, functions and guest rooms, including opening and closing, handling money and writing reports
- Support events and functions, and help with promotions in the venue and local marketing
- Help order stock, control it and coordinate suppliers, and contribute to rostering so labour is used well
- Help the venue stay compliant (RSA, RCG, gaming, WHS, food safety)
- Coach team members, and keep service standards and guest experience high
Requirements & Eligibility
- 1 year at least as a Duty Manager or Senior Supervisor, plus experience with gaming, TAB and KENO
- Holds current RSA, RCG and ARCG
- Leads with presence and communicates strongly
- Calm, organised and solutions-focused, and happy to balance service, people and compliance
- Back-of-house experience is highly regarded; experience in functions, guest-room operations, inventory, rostering, compliance reporting and local marketing is favourable
