A community club on the Sunshine Coast, large and modern, needs casual chef cover. It runs food and beverage outlets, an events and function centre and a sports bar under one roof, and the right candidate can expect 35-40 hours per week.
Once an agreeable trial period as a casual has gone well, sponsorship will be considered for the right applicant. Only applicants who already hold the right to work in Australia at application time can be considered.

Key Responsibilities
- Help the head chef run an efficient service
- Ensure the Food Safety Act and the food safety system are complied with
- Make sure food is of top quality in every outlet
- Keep the standard and consistency of food served high
Requirements & Eligibility
- Three years or more in a commercial kitchen, as a minimum
- Bistro cuisine background is desirable
- Excellent interpersonal skills, and clear communication
- Honest and reliable, taking a positive approach to service excellence
- Comfortable working in a team
- Handles multitasking and pressure well, and time management is essential; neat, tidy and well presented at all times
- Australian work authorisation is required at the time of application
