Chefs at any of several levels can apply to a highly rated Sunshine Coast café, which is independently owned and growing. The café is known for creative breakfasts and lunches, quality ingredients, house-made preparations and genuine hospitality, and wants a talented and motivated Chef. An experienced Chef or a Senior Cook ready to step up to Sous Chef or Head Chef would both be considered, with duties built around the person's skills and leadership potential.
Shifts fall mainly in the daytime in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen. The role is full-time, long-term career paths are available and the owners are hands-on. Potential employer sponsorship is open to suitable candidates, subject to position and visa eligibility requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Cook and serve high-quality breakfast and lunch dishes
- Hold presentation, freshness and consistency to a high standard
- Plan prep and keep the kitchen running smoothly and efficiently
- Support food safety, cleanliness and stock management, and work with the team during busy services
- Contribute ideas for the menu and kitchen improvements, and take on leadership, training and kitchen management where appropriate

- Proven background in a professional commercial kitchen, with confidence under pressure in busy services
- Takes pride in presentation, consistency and food quality
- Organised, efficient and a team player
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Happy with early starts and weekend work
- Previous leadership experience is highly regarded
