Support for the head chef, sous chef and kitchenhands is the heart of this Chef job at a golf club in Shepparton, where trade is growing. The club is looking for a qualified, passionate and highly motivated person for a dynamic, professional team, reporting to the Head Chef, with an immediate start available.
The town is a regional tourist destination, popular for skiing, boating, fishing and hiking. Candidates must hold valid Australian work rights, and sponsorship may be available to exceptional applicants after a successful trial period.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook the menu, checking dishes as they are made and plated
- Teach and supervise newly appointed or less experienced staff
- Delegate to the team and oversee the cooks
- Meet hygiene regulations, track food stock and place orders
Requirements & Eligibility
- Experience and qualifications in commercial cookery (Cert 3 or higher)
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a commercial kitchen
- Flexible availability across weekdays and weekends in a 7-day operation
- Good communication skills and the ability to work unsupervised or in a team
- Understanding of OH&S and food hygiene requirements
- Valid work rights in Australia
