Do you want to cook for weddings and events? A venue near Wollongong, one of five wedding venues in one group, is looking for a Chef de Partie on a full-time basis, with an immediate start. The menus are European, and services are big and fast.
The group is looking for a chef who wants to stay and grow; its five venues leave room to progress to Sous Chef. Visa sponsorship under Subclass 482 Skills in Demand is available for eligible candidates. Applicants send a CV with a few photographs of their plated food.

Key Responsibilities
- Take charge of your section for preparation and service at weddings and events.
- With the Head Chef, shape menus, tastings and seasonal changes.
- Keep ordering, stock control and food safety tight.
- Train and lead junior chefs and kitchen hands, and cater at other venues.
Requirements & Eligibility
- 3 years of culinary experience.
- Some of that time as a CDP or a strong Demi.
- Experience plating for large numbers while keeping quality up.
- A food safety certification, or the ability to obtain it within 30 days of starting.
- A Drivers License is required.
