A modern Asian restaurant in the Perth area has won awards, and it needs a Chef de Partie or Commis Chef for a kitchen that is already successful. The restaurant opens seven days a week for lunch and dinner and serves more than 1,000 covers a week.
It is part of a hospitality precinct, with several venues served from one shared kitchen, so the work is busy and varied. Senior chefs there like to train their next leaders. Sponsorship may be considered for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve food that is exceptional and consistent, following recipes and instructions from senior chefs and managers
- Cook several stations (pans, wok, fryers, larder, grill) independently in a fast, high-volume kitchen
- Help the shared kitchen that feeds several venues in the precinct
Requirements & Eligibility
- A work history of at least 3 years as a chef in a busy, high-volume kitchen, relevant to the position applied for
- Asian cuisine experience is preferred, but it is not essential
- A commercial cookery certificate
- Flexible with weekends and public holidays, with real drive and a willingness to grow into a leadership role
