Key Responsibilities
- Create inventive, well-presented dishes across a wide range and keep quality, presentation and service at their best
- Work with the Head Chef on new menu items and on improving existing recipes
- Apply food safety and hygiene rules strictly, run your own station and help the kitchen flow
- Mentor junior kitchen staff and join team meetings and training
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least 2 years as a Chef in a fast-paced restaurant of high quality
- Culinary training in a formal setting, or a relevant hospitality qualification
- Excellent cooking, with close attention to detail and presentation
- Thorough knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Strong teamwork and communication skills and a passion for seasonal, locally sourced ingredients
- Ability to adapt to, and do well in, a busy, high-pressure kitchen
