Key Responsibilities
- Prepare beef, lamb, chicken and goat to halal standards
- Cut, trim and portion each product
- Handle and store meat carefully, then display it
- Serve customers: selections, special orders, cooking advice
- Keep the workplace clean, safe and organised, following food safety standards
- Work with other team members so operations run smoothly each day
Requirements & Eligibility
- Earlier experience as a butcher; halal experience highly regarded
- Strong knife and portioning skills and attention to detail
- Understanding of halal requirements for preparing meat
- A customer-focused approach, good communication skills, and a reliable, hardworking, team-player attitude
