Metal Casting Trade Worker
Visa sponsorship
Trade · Christchurch, New Zealand · Full-Time · $35 - $41/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored
A Christchurch foundry that belongs to a business whose marine propulsion products serve over 120 countries needs experienced Moulders. Sand moulding is the key skill, with five or more years in a production foundry, across alloys including Aluminium, AB2 (an aluminium bronze alloy) and Stainless Steel.
Whichever shift production calls for, applicants must be ready to take it. Monday to Friday that means 6:00am – 2:30pm, 7:00am – 3:30pm, 2:30pm – 10:30pm or 3:30pm – 11:30pm, and Sunday to Friday 10:30pm – 6:30am or 11:00pm – 7:00am. Two weeks' notice at the least comes before any change of pattern.
As an Accredited Employer, the business may back visa applications from suitably qualified people, so sponsorship can be discussed.
