A custom joinery business in the south of the South Island needs a Joinery Detailer to fill a recent retirement. The post is full-time and permanent, the working week is 40-44 hours, and the business has been supplying all forms of joinery for more than 30 years.
Candidates must either be trade qualified with a minimum of kitchen cabinetry or have three years of experience associated with joinery that they can prove. Because it is an Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV) employer, the business can sponsor the right international candidates into permanent employment in New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities
- Work from technical drawings and documents, interpreting them
- Plan and manage each project, sorting out issues to deliver on time, and coordinate with builders, suppliers and sub-contractors
- Handle customers, architects and designers and report to the management team
Requirements & Eligibility
- A trade qualification (minimum: kitchen cabinetry), or three years of provable joinery associated experience
- Knowledge of Microvellum (or similar) woodworking software
- A strong work ethic and excellent time management
- Effective communication with customers, architects and designers, and the ability to plan and problem solve
