Key Responsibilities
- Keep the buildings in good repair, both inside and outside
- Switch between minor maintenance and helping on large-scale construction projects
- Find and report defects and maintenance issues needing attention
- Respond to tenant maintenance requests quickly and professionally and close the issue
- Complete planned preventative maintenance and support building improvement works
- Help create practical solutions for maintaining the buildings long term
- Work safely and tidily, complete work to a high standard and assist with supervising external trades
Requirements & Eligibility
- Experience of building maintenance, general repairs or a relevant trade
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Confident with tools and quick to find practical solutions to maintenance problems
- Reliable and proactive, working well alone or in a team
- Well presented, communicating clearly with tenants, colleagues and contractors
- Willingness to learn new skills and handle a variety of tasks
- A stable employment history and a wish for a long-term opportunity, together with availability for a rotating roster that includes Saturdays
