Assistant Chef
Visa sponsorship
Hospitality · Sydney, NSW, Australia · Contract · $35/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored
This is a kitchen opening at a Sydney pub that is being handed to new owners. They intend to build a lively neighbourhood hub and sports venue around a strong food offering, with the hotel renovated, more entertainment added and lunch and dinner on every day across several areas.
Assistant Chef shifts are casual: Monday and Tuesday for lunch and dinner, and Saturday and Sunday for lunch or dinner, with additional hours as trade grows. A strong preference goes to people who can start immediately. The venue may be able to offer sponsorship opportunities to the right candidate, and it wants enthusiastic, innovative and aspirational cooks or chefs.
Tanzanian cooks should show on the CV where they have worked a busy service and what they cooked most, in a layout a hiring manager can scan quickly. Build AI CV helps you set that out.
