Trade-qualified people are being sought in Brisbane for full-time special class welding, boilermaking and pipefitting roles at a welding and fabrication business. The welding is done with GMAW (STT), FCAW and GTAW. Pipefitting covers pipes, gaskets, valves and related equipment, built in stainless and carbon steel to a range of specifications.
The business asks for strong leadership, high-level technical knowledge, excellent planning and well-developed verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Weld with the GMAW (STT), FCAW and GTAW processes, in stainless and carbon steel
- Put together pipes, gaskets, valves and related equipment to meet a range of specifications
- Interpret drawings, plan the work and lead on the job
Requirements & Eligibility
- Holds a trade qualification (preferred for pipefitters)
- Professional experience in welding and fabrication, and pipe laying experience for pipefitters
- Has worked with stainless and carbon steel
- Able to read and interpret drawings, with strong leadership, high-level technical knowledge, excellent planning and good verbal communication
- Australian work rights or sponsorship eligibility
