Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing that is safe and compassionate and rests on evidence, whether in emergency, acute or aged care
- Partner with patients, carers and the multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care
- Take on Nurse in Charge duties across ED (including triage), acute and aged care services
- Contribute to quality improvement, and promote positive patient experiences
Requirements & Eligibility
- Registered Nurse who currently holds AHPRA registration
- Confident, capable clinician with the temperament to thrive in a rural healthcare environment
- Independent in practice and collaborative within a multidisciplinary team
- Experience or willingness to work as the Nurse in Charge across ED (including triage), acute and aged care
- Commitment to patient-centred care, strong communication, clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Immunisation and screening for certain diseases (Category A position)
