From the coast of Tanzania to the central west of New South Wales: a family general practice in Dubbo is recruiting an experienced Registered Nurse for a full-time Practice Nurse role, Monday to Friday. You would give primary care to individuals and families and complete health assessments on home visits.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the medical practitioner in delivering care
- Order stock, sterilise equipment and keep the treatment room working
- Contribute to patient education
- Apply infection control and WHS practices
- Help the practice meet accreditation standards
- Provide clinical leadership to colleagues
- Manage patient triage
- Treat wounds and apply dressings
- Give immunisations to children and adults, and travel vaccinations
- Perform corporate health checks, ECG, audiometry and spirometry
- Handle chronic disease management, age-appropriate health assessments and Indigenous health assessments
- Maintain the cold chain and educate staff
Requirements & Eligibility
- Maintain current AHPRA registration and complete the required CPD points
- Hold a Basic Life Support / CPR certificate, current, or equivalent
- Hold a Working With Children Check
- Be able to multi-task, solve problems and manage your time
- Communicate strongly in writing and in speech
- A Certified Immuniser is looked upon favourably
