Key Responsibilities
- Give evidence-based nursing care that follows each resident's plan, and develop those plans with residents and the care team
- Direct graduate Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, student nurses and Personal Care Workers, lead the care team and manage their performance through reviews and development support
- Assess health, monitor vital signs and manage medications and treatments, and liaise with clinical staff, residents, families, allied health professionals, GPs and external organisations
Requirements & Eligibility
- Bachelor of Nursing; current unrestricted AHPRA registration; First Aid and CPR certificates
- Aged care and infection control practice that is ethical and current, consistent with legal and AHPRA requirements and the Nurses Code of Conduct
- Aged care experience and readiness to do ongoing mandatory training
