Key Responsibilities
- Scope and check civil and utility works across sewer, water and gas
- Draft drawings and specs, with quantities, for tender packages
- Own the program and the budget of each project, including cost reports, and maintain working relationships with clients and asset owners, and with authorities and subcontractors
- Assist site teams on technical matters, including RFIs and variations
- See that quality, safety and environmental standards are followed, and take part in preparing risk assessments, SWMS and ITPs
Requirements & Eligibility
- Holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Work experience in civil construction, pipeline or utility projects
- Knowledge of Queensland water and sewer authority requirements and Australian Standards
- Knowledge of concrete work, in-situ and precast
- Placing orders for materials, plant and equipment hire
- Communication and stakeholder skills that are strong
- A current Queensland driver's licence and full Australian work rights
- Desirable: AutoCAD or Civil 3D and project software experience; White Card
