A Brisbane-area Australian company in electrical engineering and manufacturing, known as a leader in its field, wants an experienced HV/MV Electrical Engineer for its expanding engineering team. It engineers low, medium and high voltage electrical infrastructure from design through testing and commissioning.
Applications are welcome from people currently on a subclass 482 visa, and the company has 482 visa sponsorship available for the right Electrical Engineer candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Handle HV and MV jobs on substations, switchrooms, switchboards and switchgear
- Team up with colleagues in engineering, manufacturing, testing, quality and projects
- Back power distribution, protection and control systems work
- Interpret drawings, specifications and technical documents
- Serve clients in utilities, mining, renewable energy, infrastructure and industry
- Keep work in line with Australian Standards
Requirements & Eligibility
- Australian registration as an Electrical Engineer, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience
- Experience of HV and/or MV electrical systems; switchboard, switchgear, substation, protection and control or power distribution experience is highly regarded
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications and technical documentation
- Strong technical and problem-solving capabilities and an understanding of relevant Australian Standards
- Effective working with engineering, manufacturing, project and testing teams
