The group behind this waterfront restaurant has a strong reputation and is still expanding, and it needs a Head Chef to take over the kitchen. Around 80 guests can be seated, and the menu is built on confident modern Australian flavours, served in small portions and sharing dishes, with the cooking done in-house using local produce.
The new Head Chef sets the menus with the owner, shapes and trains the team, and calls service from the pass. This is a full-time position, 38 hours a week. Current head chefs and senior sous chefs ready for a first head chef role are both invited to apply. The employer is willing to discuss visa sponsorship with the right person.

Requirements & Eligibility
- Experience cooking modern Australian food with bold flavours and comfort with grill and fire
- Experience leading a kitchen through busy service
- Knowledge of kitchen numbers and systems, alongside a calm, generous and collaborative leadership style
