Fitter / Turner and Welder
Visa sponsorship
Trade · Christchurch, New Zealand · Full-Time · $36 - $40/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored
Since 2017, a business based in Christchurch has been building, refurbishing and servicing cranes and lifting equipment around New Zealand, and its workshop now needs a Fitter / Turner and Welder (Crane Technician) who is skilled in both trades. You would join a tight-knit team and also support field servicing, working in a firm that stands for uncompromisingly high workmanship, honest customer relationships and a can-do attitude.
Applicants can either already have the legal right to work in New Zealand or be willing to go through the Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV) process, and employer sponsorship is part of that route.
Your CV should show which machines you set up, which materials you weld and any crane or hydraulic work, with a VETA trade certificate from Dar es Salaam if you hold one. Make a fitter-welder CV using Build AI CV.
