Carpet & Flooring Installer
Visa sponsorship
Trade · Christchurch, New Zealand · Full-Time · $25 - $38/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored
Carpet and flooring installers, from experienced to trainee, are wanted by a long-standing flooring firm in Christchurch that is expanding. Seniors who can lead jobs are especially sought, juniors and apprentices (current or aspiring) are welcome, and the firm may appoint more than one strong applicant. It installs floors in homes and light commercial premises across Christchurch and nearby.
Positions are permanent, full-time and based on at least 37.5 hours a week, normally 40–42, primarily Monday to Friday with occasional extra hours. A senior installer is responsible for a job from arrival until it is finished and organises and supports another installer or small crew; trainees work beside experienced installers with supervision and training. Applicants on the AEWV path, including those who need employer sponsorship support for an Accredited Employer Work Visa, are welcome, subject to obtaining the appropriate New Zealand work rights.
Lead the CV with the flooring you can fit, then training such as a VETA certificate from Dar es Salaam. Build AI CV helps present it tidily.
