A well-established Sydney aged care home with a family atmosphere is hiring an experienced, compassionate Registered Nurse. The environment is friendly and supportive, with care centred on the person. The nurse delivers high-quality clinical care, supports residents' wellbeing and leads care staff in line with the Aged Care Quality Standards.
The position is for nurses who currently live in Australia and hold current AHPRA registration. Candidates who are eligible, already in Australia and meeting Department of Home Affairs requirements can receive employer sponsorship (482 / 494 visa); overseas applicants without current AHPRA registration or Australian residence will not be considered at this stage.

Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate each resident's nursing needs, plan and carry out their care, dispense medications and watch health and wellbeing
- Co-develop individualised care plans with the multidisciplinary team
- Lead, guide and back up the nursing team
- Comply with the legislation, regulations and organisational policies that apply, and keep in touch with residents, families and the wider care team
Requirements & Eligibility
- AHPRA registration that is current, as a Registered Nurse (essential)
- Residing in Australia at present (essential)
- Experience in aged care or a similar healthcare setting that is significant, including a minimum of 1 year
- Clinical strength in meeting the diverse health needs of older adults
- Communication and interpersonal skills of an excellent standard
- A compassionate, person-centred way of working, and commitment to ongoing professional development
