Here is a Registered Nurse job at a residential aged care home in Coffs Harbour on the New South Wales North Coast, run by a not-for-profit provider. The job is permanent and full-time. Shifts rotate between mornings, afternoons and nights, and you report to the Care Manager. You give clinical nursing care of a high standard, lead the shift and support the personal care team through coaching, supervision and guidance. Relationship-centred care is the approach, with trust built between you, residents and their families.
Initial 482 sponsorship is available, and eligible applicants can look at pathways to permanent residency.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver clinical care to best-practice nursing standards and use clinical judgement when a resident's needs change
- Lead the shift and coach, supervise and guide the personal care team
- Build trusting relationships with residents and their families, and support a positive, safe and inclusive environment for residents and colleagues
- Follow clinical, safety and organisational policies and procedures
Requirements & Eligibility
- Current AHPRA registration plus a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
- At least 2 years of nursing, ideally including aged care; knows aged care legislation and the Aged Care Quality Standards
- Understands AN-ACC assessments and has strong clinical knowledge of ageing and its health conditions
- Confident to coach, mentor and support care staff
- Communicates well, handles conflict and shows emotional intelligence
- Positive, collaborative and competent with IT
