Person-centred nursing for older people, with a focus on residents living with dementia, is the core of this part-time Registered Nurse job near Albury. Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care centred on the person, for residents in an aged care home
- Support residents living with dementia
- Solve clinical problems to support resident care
- Work shifts on various days as one of the team
- Contribute to a motivated, enthusiastic care team
Requirements & Eligibility
- Full, unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards
- Post-graduate applications are welcome
- Some affinity with dementia care, including experience or the willingness to gain it
- Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving
- Strong team spirit and motivation
- Flexible availability for shifts on various days
- Immunisation in line with the organisation's policy, including a TGA-approved COVID-19 vaccine and annual influenza; a National Criminal History Check; and a pre-employment medical assessment
