Registered Nurses with emergency experience are wanted in Canberra, where a busy Emergency Department provides patient-centred care at speed. The ideal nurse has solid clinical judgement, excellent communication skills and a commitment to safe, effective emergency care, and values teamwork across disciplines in assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating care and supporting patients and families.
Work follows a rotating roster that includes evenings, nights and weekends, alongside ongoing professional development. Visa sponsorship may be offered to eligible candidates.

Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate emergency care for patients, nursing them safely and effectively with the patient at the centre
- Be there for patients and their families throughout treatment, as part of a multidisciplinary emergency team
- Follow a rotating roster that includes evenings, nights and weekends
Requirements & Eligibility
- Current AHPRA registration, or eligibility for registration, as a Registered Nurse
- At least 2 years of post-graduate nursing experience, with a postgraduate qualification in emergency nursing or equivalent
- Able to deliver high-quality nursing in line with professional competency standards, using strong critical thinking, communication and clinical decision-making
- Able to work independently as well as in a multidisciplinary team
