Key Responsibilities
- Keep all farm equipment maintained and in working order
- Test and inspect machinery for wear and damage
- Order parts and find the cause of breakdowns
- Go to field breakdowns and repair on site when work is busy
- Care for the workshop and the spare parts store
- Work with machine operators and managers, and give junior staff some guidance
- Write down maintenance and operations details
Requirements & Eligibility
- A Diesel Mechanic qualification or strong hands-on experience
- Able to work alone and solve problems quickly
- Farm or heavy machinery experience is preferred
- Hard-working and dependable in peak seasons
- Communicates clearly
- Organised in daily work
