Swapping the Indian Ocean breeze for an Auckland workshop? A family-run fleet servicing business is looking for two Heavy Diesel Truck Mechanics, in a modern workshop where safety is a priority.
The week is 40 hours at least, and a Saturday half-day is rostered. Your jobs would be trucks and trailers, buses, and lighter commercial vehicles.
The employer is an Accredited Employer and helps with visa transfers, which is how sponsorship fits in.

Key Responsibilities
- Keeping heavy and commercial vehicles on their service schedule
- Fixing brakes and steering
- Overhauling and rebuilding modern diesel engines, transmissions and drivetrains
- Getting vehicles ready for COF and VCA
- Tracing faults with diagnostic tools, plus general mechanical tasks
- A clean, safe workplace
Requirements & Eligibility
- Diesel Technician qualification (Level 4 or equivalent), or a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the automotive or heavy vehicle industry
- Clean driver’s licence, with Class 2 as a minimum, and a willingness to progress to Class 4/5
- Can work independently as well as in a team
- Strong commitment to safety, and brings own well-equipped toolbox
- Good written and verbal communication
- Prepared to work a rostered half-day Saturday
