Looking for caregiving work in Christchurch? A dementia care provider has a full-time permanent Caregiver vacancy at one of its homes. The provider is innovative, its settings are small and homely, and its team is close-knit and supportive, with strong mentoring and training. The roster is 24/7 and you work at least 30 hours a week. Hourly pay starts at $23.95 (Level 1) and reaches $28.25 (Level 4 and above). The employer is an Immigration New Zealand Accredited Employer, so visa sponsorship is available.

Key Responsibilities
- Give residents holistic, culturally safe personal care (showering, dressing, eating, mobility, communication), help plan care and follow therapy plans for residents with dementia
- Keep an eye on residents, report any progress, change or concern promptly and keep records accurate and up to date
- Help registered nurses, working within your scope of practice
Requirements & Eligibility
- Real commitment to elderly people's wellbeing, with kindness, empathy and a passion for aged care
- Ready for any shift on a 24/7 roster; earlier caregiving experience is preferred and dementia care experience is a strong advantage
- For visa support: a Registered Nursing degree, or a Level 4+ caregiving qualification with an International Qualification Assessment (IQA)
