Hairdressers and barbers who are experienced and creative can apply to a professional unisex salon in Tauranga. You would give clients quality hair care, styling and men's grooming in a modern, air-conditioned salon, leaving them satisfied and keeping to health and hygiene standards at every appointment.
The salon is an accredited employer. If a suitable candidate needs it, visa sponsorship support is available.

Key Responsibilities
- Consultation: find out each client's wishes on cut, colour, style and men's grooming, including beards
- Hair services: cutting, trimming, tapering, shaping and styling with scissors, clippers, razors and other professional tools
- Barbering: moustache and beard trimming, wet shaves and hot towel treatments
- Hair and scalp care: shampooing, conditioning and treatments, with advice on products and upkeep
- Colour and chemical work: colouring, tints, highlights, bleach, straightening, relaxing and perming, plus styling with dryers, straighteners and curling irons
- Salon routine: sanitise tools and work areas to hygiene and safety standards, and manage appointments, schedules and payments as required
Requirements & Eligibility
- Two (2) years or more of full-time work as a Hairdresser or Barber, as a minimum
- Technical skill that is proven in haircutting, colouring, styling and men's grooming
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong focus on customer service
- Teamwork that is efficient and cooperative
- Sound hygiene and safety knowledge for a salon setting
