A consultancy in Sydney that advises on property risk and buildings is hiring for a Building Consultant or Senior Building Consultant position. The portfolio is a diverse mix of assets, and the clients include people who own, invest in, insure and occupy property.
Much of the work is about assessing buildings and reporting on them clearly and concisely. You would see significant and complex assets, and the consultancy may consider visa sponsorship for outstanding candidates.
Tanzanian surveyors, engineers and construction managers can list inspections and reports on the CV, then have Build AI CV tidy the structure.
Key Responsibilities
- Do technical due diligence on properties
- Assess building condition and write make good (dilapidations) reports
- Advise clients on property
Requirements & Eligibility
- Degree in Building Surveying (UK), Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline
- 3+ years' experience in building consultancy, surveying or property advisory
- Strong skills in inspection, investigation and problem-solving, and in writing clear, concise and technically robust reports
- Confident with clients and industry professionals
- MRICS or similar professional accreditation, or working towards it, is highly regarded
